School Profile

Sue Reynolds Elementary School is named for the fine lady who worked tirelessly to build community support for the first school in this area. She also served as the leader and a teacher at that school for many years. She was truly a visionary and advocate for education. Ms. Reynolds would be proud to see the 3rd building with her namesake, serving over 700 students Pre K-5th grade. Our current campus was established 14 years ago, replacing a smaller building about 1 mile down Wrightsboro Road. In many cases we are serving 2nd generation Sue Reynolds students, as many in our community attended school at the building down the road when they were children. Sue Reynonlds is located in Augusta which is the second largest and oldest city in Georgia and is known as the Garden City and home of James Brown and the Masters Golf Tournament. Our staff, students, and school volunteers work hard each day to make sure Sue Reynolds is A Level Above the Rest and continues to be a great place to work and learn.
